Founded in 1989, Metex has a proven history as a high performance IT shop delivering enterprise-level solutions for a variety of industries including government, telecom, agriculture and energy.

Metex has always been known for its technical excellence and our R&D staff includes a number of PhDs. But we don’t rest on the laurels of advanced degrees, we base our reputation solely on the results that we consistently deliver -- projects that are consistently on spec, on time and on budget.

In 2001, Metex released a Centura to Java and .Net transformation solution that was quickly recognized by both customers and leading consulting firms to be the industry leading technical solution for Centura transformation. A PowerBuilder transformation solution arrived in 2003 and it was soon followed in the summer of 2004 with an Oracle Forms transformation capability. The R & D team is set to release the next transformation solution in November of 2006.

The release of a continuing stream of new 4GL transformation solutions has created a dramatic expansion in both revenue and staff levels. Metex has moved to a much larger headquarters in the spring of 2006 that will house the continued expansion in staff and provide room for future growth.
