Toronto On, – Apr 2, 2013 – Metex Inc. introduced changes to the Customer Engagement Model to allow flexibility for Customers to take ownership in the Application Migration process earlier to reduce costs and increase internal Staff capabilities and expertise.

Customers can take advantage of aspects of the Metex Partner process by collaboratively engaging in the development and testing cycles. With training, customers can manage the development and testing phases with their own staff and utilize Metex resources as subject matter experts to guide the customer developers in using the Metex Transformation Tool Suite.

This latest change to the Metex Customer Engagement Model, will not affect Metex's commitment to "Value, Quality, or Schedule", but will provide flexibility to Customers who desire greater control when leveraging Metex Migration Solutions with internal project lifecycle models. Toronto On, – March 11, 2013 – Metex Inc. is pleased to announce a new release of their Database Migration Toolset.

This release of the Metex Database Migration Toolset includes many new features focusing on validating the integrity of Stored Procedure migration to new database platforms. The list of other additions in this release includes various minor improvements to all areas of the Toolset. The most significant improvements however are with the reporting and re-run capabilities of the Stored Procedure migration testing module to improve productivity, and transparency.

This latest release of the Metex Database Migration Toolset, has completed internal acceptance testing and is now available for use by our Professional Services Field Engineers in customer engagements. Metex is pleased to announce that it has completed its standards auditing process to achieve Type 2 SSAE 16 SOC 1 audit certification. Replacing Metex’s previous SAS 70 type II audit certification, Type 2 SSAE 16 SOC 1 provides better alignment with international standards and requires a written assertion from management on the design and operating effectiveness of the data center controls.
